John P. Auletto Named Vice President Human Resources Covalence Specialty Materials Corp. Announces Senior Management Appointment

PRINCETON, NJ - Aug. 16, 2006 – Covalence Specialty Materials Corp. ("Covalence") today announced the appointment of John P. Auletto as Vice President Human Resources. Mr. Auletto will be joining Covalence as of August 28, 2006. Auletto was most recently Vice President Human Resources for Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc.

Auletto had served Hexion and its predecessor, Borden Chemical, in various senior human resources leadership roles. He was a member of the integration team involved with merging Borden Chemical, Resolution Performance Products, Resolution Specialty Materials and Bakelite to form Hexion in early 2005.
